HSPA: Evolved High Speed Packet Access, offers up to 42 Mbps downlink and 11 Mbps uplink. HSUPA :High-Speed Uplink Packet Access 3G mobile telephony protocol offers up to 5.76 Mbps up-link.

Tata Docomo High speed Mobile Broadband is available in 3 plug-n-play 3G USB Devices : HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+ modems. So I think its time move on for 3G devices, but currently the only option is Tata DOCOMO 3G devices.
But frankly the maximum speed I got in good netwok condition was 650 to 740 kbps. I waited for 3G, but two months back when I moved to Bengaluru for my training I was forced to buy MTS MBLAZE mobile broand device for RS 3000, which promised 3.1 Mbps speed. So I think the prices are reasonable, if you wish to get high-speed devices. The prices of the HSDPA device and Data cards looks reasonable, especially the HSPA+ USB Modem has 21.6 Mbps maximum speed and costs Rs 3500.When you compare this with current mobile broadband devices in the market, for instance Airtel 3.6 mbps modem costs Rs 3800. Two days back Tata Docomo revealed its 3G tariffs, now Tata Docomo launched Tata Docomo 3G Mobile Broadband devices.
